SOCIAL JUSTICE WORKING GROUP
Join the DSU Social Justice Working Group to be involved in the following:
Plan and implement social justice campaigns relating to economic, environmental and social issues important to members as directed by the Board;
Plan and execute the local implementation of social justice campaigns of the BC Federation
of Students;Make recommendations to the Board of Directors for new social justice campaigns on issues not currently being addressed by the ongoing work of the Students’ Union;
Regularly review work of like-minded social justice organizations and coalition partners for opportunities to become involved in important social issues; and,
Liaise with activist clubs and other on-campus social justice groups to ensure that the Students’ Union is working collectively, where appropriate.
