EVENTS
The Douglas Students’ Union hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year to create a fun and enjoyable experience outside of the classroom!
We aim to make your time at Douglas as fun and memorable as possible. We hold events for students to keep you entertained, to learn outside of the classroom and to provide an opportunity to meet and make new friends. Whether you attend our lunch events, movie nights, pub nights, wellness events, or advocacy-centered events, we hope your participation will have you feeling more connected to the Douglas community.

Sexual Health Awareness Week - COQ
Every year in February we mark Sexual Health Awareness week to raise awareness and promote resources to improve sexual health. This year’s theme is Sex+Plus!
Sexual health is a vital part of our overall wellbeing, shaping our mental health, relationships, and understanding of our bodies. Many communities, including 2SLGBTQI+ people, Indigenous Peoples, people with disabilities, immigrants, women, youth, and students, all still face barriers to accessible and inclusive information.
This year’s theme, SexPlus, explores how emerging technologies and artificial intelligence are changing how we access sexual health information and navigate our rights and relationships, creating space to ask questions and learn more together.
