DSU PERSIAN CLUB

The purpose of the DSU Persian club is:

• To gather a safe and helpful community for Persians, specially newcomers, as one myself, it would have helped me alot to find and talk with my people to figure out how things work in Canada.

• Although the club name is Persian, we welcome any Dari, French, Spanish language speakers. The borders may have separated us but we want to gather people to get help and have fun in our gatherings.

• Our team have event planning experience and feel confident that people outside of our community would love to join us in our events and club gathering.

• Douglas has great clubs but not many that celebrates Countries. Festivals for example have Yalda, an ancient festival that many countries celebrate (Afghanistan, Tajikistan) which we can start hosting to also let other countries be introduced to our culture.
