DSU MUSLIM STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION

The Club’s Mission:

The Douglas Students' Union Association (MSA) is a student-run club dedicated to building community, fostering dialogue and creating meaningful opportunities for growth on campus. While we provide a space for Muslim students to connect and practice their faith, our doors are open to everyone interested in learning, engaging and sharing in the experience. Our events include socials, game nights, Ramadan iftars, educational workshops and collaborations with other student groups across the Lower Mainland. Through both cultural and community-oriented programming, we aim to strengthen student bonds and contribute positively to campus life at Douglas College.

The purpose of the DSU Muslim Students’ Association is:

  • Religious support through prayers, discussions, and fostering a sense of community.

  • Cultural and religious awareness about both Islam and as well as its various adherents.

  • Interfaith dialogue with members of different faiths and beliefs in a respectful manner.
