DSU INDIGENOUS STUDENTS’ COLLECTIVE
Our Goals & Mission
The DSU Indigenous Students' Collective aims to provide an inclusive and welcoming space to Indigenous students and strengthen Indigenous community on campus. The Collective hosts various types of gatherings such as socials, panel discussions, cultural / art events, advocacy related events and storytelling events with Elders. The Collective also organizes annual Indigenous Artisan Marketplace events at each campus to support local Indigenous businesses and artists.

Campaigns
Reconciliation Through Education
The DSU signed on to and joined UVSS and the Anti-violence project. This campaign focuses on building consent culture on campus and having conversations about what consent is.
Moose Hide Campaign
On February 2020, the DSU signed on to the Moose Hide Campaign. Moose Hide is a grassroots movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous men and boys who are standing up against violence towards women and children.
