DSU HEALTH & NUTRITION SOCIETY

The DSU Health & Nutrition Society is dedicated to promote healthier lifestyle through fitness and nutrition guidance. Through monthly workshops and discuss on topics (educational) such as reading food labels, gut health basics, understanding macros and micros. If allowed, we would love to organize group workout sessions at movement studio. Our mission is to help students overcome challenges such as staying consistent with workout, navigating gym anxiety, and understanding what to eat.

The purpose of the DSU Health & Nutrition Society is:

  • To provide practical, budget-friendly nutrition guidance, promoting strategies tailored for student life.

  • To increase awareness of Canadian food & exercise guidelines

  • To support students in building consistent fitness routine, helping them overcome initial hestitation around gymming.

  • To create a supportive diverse culture community where students can share experiences and meet like-minded people.
