DSU COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROJECT

The purpose of the Community Outreach Project is to:

  • Engage psychiatric nursing students in community outreach activities

  • Fundraise for creating care packages for vulnerable populations through clothing drives, outreach/handing out care packages and advocating for vulnerable populations

  • Working as a team

DSU Community Outreach Project (COP) is a student led and volunteer run organization that was started by a group of psychiatric nursing students who were passionate about creating an impact within the local community. Although the students that initially started the project have since graduated, we continue to uphold the hopes and values that brought COP together in the first place.
